Sands for construction products

Silica sand is a basic constituent of many products used in the construction industry.

A typical application for Strobel's construction industry fine silica sands is as a raw material in the production of sand-lime bricks, sanding roof membranes and in the production of industrial flooring.

In addition, we complete our product range with silica sands from 0.5 – 2.0 mm. They are characterized by relatively low feldspar content, a consistent beige shade and a very low fines fraction. The areas of application range from synthetic resin floors to sgraffito.
